THE FIRM

A Hyderabad-based law firm founded by two lawyers who believe the law should make sense. In moments of complexity or pressure, the firm responds with preparation, precision, and accountability — bringing structure and perspective while building strategy around the core issues.

The practice spans high-stakes disputes and routine matters alike, each handled with the same discipline, strategic consistency, and attention to detail across courts within the State and beyond. Since inception, the firm has acted in arbitrations in Delhi, Mumbai, and Hyderabad, white-collar and complex NCLT proceedings, as well as property, consumer, recovery, family, and emerging legal-tech matters.

We advise and represent publicly listed companies, IT businesses, authorised luxury vehicle dealerships, start-ups, and AI enterprises — approaching every engagement by stripping away excess to deliver practical, well-considered solutions that meaningfully advance our clients' positions.

Every meaningful journey begins with a conversation. Ours began between two lawyers who found themselves returning to the same questions, how can the law become more understandable, more thoughtful, and more valuable to the people it serves?

East Wind Legal grew from those conversations. We believed that legal advice should do more than answer questions. It should help people make better decisions, navigate complexity with confidence, and move forward with purpose.

We have seen that every matter carries its own variables. Facts evolve, circumstances shift, and no two situations unfold in exactly the same way. That is why our work begins long before advice is given or an argument is made. We take the time to understand the people behind the problem, the context around it, and the objectives that truly matter.

  • Appellate matters including first and second appeals involving wills, property, and employment; quash proceedings relating to FIRs and criminal complaints; and writ petitions arising from electricity and regulatory disputes.
  • Represented clients in investigations by the Serious Fraud Investigation Office, Enforcement Directorate, and Central Bureau of Investigation — advising on regulatory exposure, defence strategy, and coordination of parallel civil and criminal proceedings.

  • End-to-end trademark portfolio management — filings, examination responses, oppositions, counterstatements, evidentiary pleadings, and advisory on registrability, enforcement, and brand protection.
  • Represented leading film production companies and niche music labels in the acquisition, licensing, and exploitation of copyrighted works, aligning legal safeguards with commercial objectives across the media and entertainment ecosystem.

  • Strategic advisory for large-scale real estate and infrastructure projects — land due diligence, title opinions, detailed title reports, regulatory risk assessment, transaction structuring, and RERA matters for both developers and homebuyers.

  • Constitutional, administrative, and regulatory matters — including electricity and infrastructure disputes — before the High Courts of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh; and matters before the ED Special Courts, CBI Court, and the Adjudicating Authority and Appellate Tribunal under PMLA.
  • Represented consumer-facing businesses before State Consumer Forums and acted for employers in labour and employment matters — negotiations, settlements, and ongoing compliance advisory.
